Covenant of Connection: Building Reb Shlomo Carlebach’s House of Love and Prayer in Jerusalem
Holy brothers, sisters, and friends,
We are embarking on a sacred mission to establish a House of Love and Prayer in Jerusalem, inspired by the teachings of Reb Shlomo Carlebach and rooted in the principles of the Covenant of Connection. This initiative seeks to transform Reb Shlomo’s vision into a living reality—a sanctuary for unity, spirituality, and boundless love in the heart of the Jewish people.
The Covenant of Connection (In His Holy Language)
We, the undersigned, desire with our souls, spirits, and entire beings to unite above all blessings and songs, standing before Him in Torah and prayer, in song and melody, with love and awe. We pledge to seek G-d when He is near, to bring redemption closer, to draw the hearts of Israel together, and to be a light to the world in the Kingdom of Sh-a-d-ai.
We commit to connecting with one another in love, like the tribes of G-d, radiating Israel’s love to all who enter our midst. We will foster peace within Jewish homes and nurture divine love between parents and children. Above all, we vow not to waste holy moments but to fill our lives with G-d’s light through Torah and prayer.
May this covenant bring merit to us in this world and the next. Amen, Selah.
With boundless love,
Shlomo ben Pesia
